We’re WordPress developers who got tired of paying monthly SaaS fees for licensing tools that didn’t fit our workflow. So we built our own — and then made it available to everyone.
We needed a configurator. None existed.
In 2023, we were building a solar estimation tool for a client. We needed: product configurators with pricing rules, lead capture to CRM, WhatsApp order routing, license enforcement on deployed sites, and PayPal checkout — all without monthly SaaS costs.
Every tool we found was either too generic, too expensive, or required stitching together five different subscriptions. We spent three months building Magic Lead Capture instead. It’s been production-tested on real client sites ever since.
Why two plugins instead of one?
Centralizing license management on a separate server (yourmlc.com) means you can revoke, upgrade, or expire any client site instantly — without touching its WordPress install. The client plugin handles local UI and order capture; the server handles truth.
This also means if our server ever goes down, your clients’ sites keep working for 24 hours via local cache. Your customers’ trust in your product doesn’t depend on our uptime.
